The horror film 'Salmokji : Whispering Water' has maintained its position at number one at the box office for 15 consecutive days.
According to the Korean Film Council's integrated computer network for movie theater tickets on the 23rd, 'Salmokji : Whispering Water' drew 43,402 viewers nationwide on the 22nd. The cumulative number of viewers is 1,591,908.
'Salmokji : Whispering Water,' which was released on the 8th, topped the weekend box office for two consecutive weeks and has continued its winning streak into the weekdays of its third week. It surpassed its break-even point (800,000 viewers) in 7 days and is currently recording nearly double that figure.
The second place at the box office went to the documentary film 'RAN 12.3,' which gathered 37,037 viewers.
