The film "The King's Warden" has climbed to No. 2 on Korea’s all-time box office chart.

According to the Korean Film Council’s integrated box office system on the 13th, the movie drew 175,342 viewers nationwide from April 10 to 12, ranking No. 3 over the weekend. Its cumulative admissions stand at 16,397,347.

On its 67th day in theaters (April 11), it surpassed 16.28 million admissions, overtaking 2019’s "Extreme Job" (16.26 million) to claim the No. 2 spot all-time. Its revenue has topped 158.2 billion won, maintaining its lead as the highest-grossing title by gross revenue.

Next up is the all-time No. 1, "The Admiral: Roaring Currents" (17.61 million). With new releases crowding the market, the climb won’t be easy. But even in week 10, the film is still pulling more than 30,000 moviegoers a day―so the challenge isn’t out of reach.

Set in 1457 at Cheongnyeongpo, "The King's Warden" follows village head Eom Heung-do (Yoo Hae-jin), who chooses exile to revive his village, and the young former king Lee Hong-wi (Park Ji-hoon), who has been deposed and banished. The film is directed by Jang Hang-jun and stars Yoo Hae-jin, Park Ji-hoon, and Yoo Ji-tae.
