Seo Eun-hye ♥ Jo Young-nam, a Couple with Developmental Disabilities, Open Their Cafe with Help from 'Culinary Class Wars 2' 'French Papa'
You're My Destiny
On the Mar. 31 episode of SBS’s "Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny", couple Jo Young-nam and Seo Eun-hye held a soft opening for their cafe.

With help from "Culinary Class Wars 2" “French Papa,” the pair welcomed their very first customers. They took orders themselves and made the drinks, even handling table service. Watching Jo carry out the coffees he brewed, Seo couldn’t stop praising him.

More guests kept coming. They patiently waited and cheered the couple on.

To support the soft opening, French Papa personally served a special onion soup, drawing attention.

But as the crowd grew, Jo and Seo started to feel overwhelmed. French Papa suggested splitting duties, and Jo focused solely on making coffee.

Even then, there was no break in the rush. Feeling the pressure, Jo made a few mistakes and let out frustrated groans.

Seeing this, Seo worried for him. She went over to the customers, struck up conversations, and naturally bought some time.

Seo took photos and signed autographs with guests, giving warm fan service. That breather helped Jo catch his breath.

Seo also shared that she’s been selling merch made from her own artwork. She said she wanted to draw Hong Yun-hwa, calling her doll-like. Kim Gu-ra joked, “You two look like sisters.” Seo laughed and replied, “I’m twins with Han Ji-min.”

They didn’t give up and wrapped the soft opening safely. After two hours, sales topped 200,000 won. Seeing the first money they earned with their own hands, the two were thrilled.

“We made money,” Seo said. “Let’s take it to Mom.” Jo added, “Your parents spent on the cafe, so we should pay them back,” warming hearts.

They plan to keep running the cafe. “Even if Mom and Dad close their eyes, I think the two of us can do it,” Seo said. “We have disabilities, but there’s the state and people who help us. We can do well.” She added, “We’ll live healthy and happy until we’re 100.”

Seo’s mother shared honestly, “I feel happy, relieved, and sad all at once.”

“Mom, life is la-la-la,” Seo told her. “Life is always a work in progress.”
