The co-produced ENA and SBS Plus reality show "I Am Solo" closed out its 30th season with two final couples, and fans are now laser-focused on who kept dating off-camera.
On the March 25 episode, the final picks in “Solo Nation No. 30” matched Young-soo with Ok-soon and Young-sik with Young-ja for a happy ending.
After the broadcast, the cast went live on Chonjang Entertainment’s YouTube channel and personally shared who became a “real-life couple.”
On the stream, Young-soo confirmed he and Ok-soon are indeed a real-life couple. “We’ve kept seeing each other after the show,” he said. “On the show I said I’d take three to four months to date casually, but that wasn’t me. I confessed my feelings two weeks after filming ended.”
Ok-soon added, “On the show he seemed serious, but off-camera he was much more proactive and expressive, which surprised me. Once we really talked, I saw he thinks carefully about his past and future, so I felt we could date long term. His private life is very clean, which made me trust him more. He looks tough on the outside, but he’s actually a considerate, sweet boyfriend.”
Asked how they dated during the airing, Ok-soon said, “We met about once or twice a week, and to avoid spoilers we wore masks and went on late-night dates.” Addressing on-air conflict scenes, she shared, “Watching the show made me feel a bit different, so I scolded him briefly, but I understood the process and let it go.” Young-soo added, “We’re doing well without fights.”
Meanwhile, the other final couple, Young-sik and Young-ja, revealed they went their separate ways after the show. Young-sik said, “We spent about a month getting to know each other but decided to part because some things didn’t match. I’m now seriously seeing someone who understands where I fall short.” Young-ja shared, “After the broadcast, we didn’t meet to avoid spoilers. I’m now open to meeting someone new through blind dates.”
