Shinhwa’s Kim Dong-wan has responded to a tell-all post by a former manager.
On the 23rd, he wrote on his social media, “The content currently being circulated is false and does not match the facts,” adding, “Distorted information is spreading.” He continued, “I won’t comment on personal relationships. If the spread of false claims continues, I will take all possible civil and criminal legal action.”
A person identifying themselves as Kim’s former manager posted on social media the day before, publicly criticizing him. Citing past behavior, they said, “Nothing has changed in years,” pointing to drinking-then-posting on social media, conflicts with fans, and the recent controversy over his support of MC Ding Dong. They also claimed that during their time as his manager “he wouldn’t listen,” and expressed frustration that he had once called them a “sociopath.”
The post spread after Kim Dong-wan uploaded―and later deleted―a message supporting MC Ding Dong. Kim apologized for that post, saying his wording was careless and that he failed to fully consider the situation.
