On the March 22 broadcast of SBS’s "My Little Old Boy", 65-year-old Kim Byung-se, once dubbed the “Crown Prince of Middle-Aged Actors,” introduces his wife on TV for the first time.
After stepping away from TV in 2018, Kim recently made headlines by announcing he got married. During a pre-recording for "My Little Old Boy", he appeared at the airport with his wife―previously only known as a “businesswoman 15 years his junior”―instantly grabbing attention in the studio.
Kim tied the knot in 2019 at the age of 58, becoming a beacon of hope for longtime bachelors. Appearing at arrivals like a loved-up newlywed couple, Kim and his wife stayed glued to each other―prompting Kim Seung-su and Im Won-hee to openly gush with envy.
Kim couldn’t stop praising his wife and showing affection, fully embracing proud husband mode. Even in the car from the airport to their lodging, the couple held hands and shared kisses, serving textbook newlywed sweetness. At one point, Kim said, “There’s no one like my wife,” and “I must have saved the country multiple times in a past life to end up with you,” drawing envious reactions from the “Mom Avengers” panel.
