"Heart Signal" Season 3 alum and influencer Seo Eun-woo (formerly Seo Min-jae, 32) shared that she has been living in a welfare facility after giving birth to her son, and publicly asked to talk with the child’s father.
According to OSEN on the 18th, Seo Eun-woo’s legal representative, ON Law Firm, stated, “Seo Eun-woo wants only one thing right now: a responsible attitude as the child’s father and a sincere conversation and agreement.”
The firm added, “Seo recently gave birth. While she has not fully recovered, she is living in a welfare facility and raising the baby on her own. There has not yet been any concrete discussion or communication with A, the child’s biological father, regarding the birth or childcare.” They continued, “Seo hopes for at least basic consultation and communication about the baby’s birth and upbringing. She does not want to escalate legal disputes; she wants a sincere dialogue for the child.”
The two sides are currently in a legal dispute. A, the child’s father, is pursuing civil and criminal action against Seo and recently raised allegations of forged hospital documents. Seo’s side denied the accusation, saying, “The forgery claim is not true,” and added, “We have not filed separate criminal complaints or a damages suit against the other party. We have only filed a filiation (paternity recognition) claim to protect the child’s rights.”
Last May, while revealing her pregnancy, Seo drew controversy after disclosing personal information about A, her former boyfriend. A then filed complaints against Seo for alleged violations including the anti-stalking law, unlawful confinement and assault, and defamation, leading both sides into a legal battle.
Seo gave birth to a son in December. She is reportedly continuing to raise the child alone, with communication with the biological father still not going smoothly.
