IVE has taken over the weekly charts.
According to multiple music charts, “BANG BANG,” the pre-release double title track from IVE’s second studio album "REVIVE+", dropped on February 23 and hit No. 1 on the weekly charts for Melon, Genie, and Bugs (Feb. 23-Mar. 1), as well as YouTube Music’s Weekly Top Songs (Feb. 20-26). After its pre-release, “BANG BANG” kept climbing and has now landed at the top of major weekly charts, proving its strong impact.
Pre-released on the 9th, “BANG BANG” swept real-time, daily, and TOP100 charts on major Korean platforms including Melon, Genie, FLO, VIBE, and Bugs―becoming the first song released this year to achieve a Perfect All-Kill (PAK). As of 8 a.m. today (the 3rd), it continues to hold No. 1 across TOP100, real-time, and daily charts on key platforms, maintaining its PAK. That momentum carried into the weekly charts too. On YouTube Music’s Weekly Top Songs and the weekly charts on Genie and Bugs, the track has stayed at No. 1 for two straight weeks, once again underscoring IVE’s heavy-hitting digital power.
“BANG BANG” delivers a self-assured message about carving your own path without being swayed by outside noise. Its hard-hitting EDM sound and straightforward performance have left a strong impression. Short-form platforms are fueling the hype as a variety of “BANG BANG” challenges continue to spread.
IVE’s chart power isn’t limited to the new release. Alongside the latest tracks, earlier hits remain steady on the weekly charts, including the title track “I AM” from their first studio album (2023), last year’s mini 3rd album cuts “REBEL HEART” and “ATTITUDE,” and songs from the mini 4th album "XOXZ". It shows that every IVE release keeps winning broad public support, cementing them as a “trust-and-listen” digital force.
That chart success has translated to music shows. With “BANG BANG,” IVE took home No. 1 trophies on Mnet’s "M Countdown", KBS2’s "Music Bank", MBC’s "Show! Music Core", and SBS’s "Inkigayo"―securing a four-crown sweep. On top of the Perfect All-Kill, the group is stacking meaningful wins on TV, further stamping their box office strength.
At the same time, fellow title track “BLACKHOLE” is heating up. Upon release, “BLACKHOLE” landed high on major Korean charts and kicked off a tandem hit run alongside “BANG BANG.” With sleek performance and self-driven lyrics, IVE is showcasing a deeper musical spectrum and drawing a hot response from listeners in and out of Korea.
With a No. 1 finish on the weekly digital charts setting the stage for a long run, IVE plans to stay active with “BLACKHOLE,” including music show performances and a range of new content.
