AOMG’s co-ed hip-hop group SIKKOO will drop their second EP, ‘home,’ on Feb. 6.
SIKKOO (YOSI, 200, KOO) revved up comeback mode on Feb. 2 by updating their official social accounts, streaming platforms, and portal profiles with a new logo and group photo.
On Feb. 3, the group unveiled a Highlight medley for their second EP ‘home’ via their official social channels and YouTube. According to the preview, ‘home’ packs seven tracks: double title songs ‘nosho’ and ‘kinda Guilty,’ plus ‘bad trip,’ ‘demons,’ ‘AI LOVE,’ ‘BAPPY,’ and the title track ‘home.’
‘nosho’ delivers SIKKOO’s fresh, youthful energy with melodic, groovy layers and a hook that sticks. The other title track, ‘kinda Guilty,’ is an homage to Dynamic Duo’s ‘Guilty,’ spotlighting KOO’s raw, stripped-back rap.
The EP also features solo tracks: ‘bad trip’ by KOO, ‘demons’ by 200 (EBACK), and ‘AI LOVE’ by YOSI―each channeling distinct flows and messages. ‘BAPPY’ flips the paradox of “bad but happy” feelings over a baile funk-inspired beat, and the duet ‘home’ by 200 and YOSI rounds out a genre-spanning set that showcases SIKKOO’s range.
The day after the release, on Feb. 7 at 6 p.m. KST, SIKKOO will host a ‘home’ release party at Love Love Love in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, to spend a special evening with fans. They’ll premiere stages for the new songs and aim to win over listeners with an upgraded sound.
SIKKOO’s all-round producer YOSI, the sole female member with a unique vocal color 200, and leader-maknae KOO all took part in planning and producing the project, flexing their “multiplayer artist” chops. Meanwhile, 200 is currently appearing as a contestant on Mnet’s "Show Me The Money 12."
SIKKOO joined AOMG last year and released their first EP, ‘間,’ drawing attention as a rising hip-hop group with a singular vibe. Fans are watching to see the new musical shifts the group will unveil with ‘home.’
Following their role as the first act of the AOMG 2.0 Rebranding Project, SIKKOO returns with their second EP ‘home’ about 10 months later. The EP drops on Feb. 6 at 6 p.m. KST across major digital music platforms.
