NewJeans member DANIELLE is set to speak directly with fans for the first time since ADOR terminated her exclusive contract.

According to her representatives at the law firm HwaWoo, DANIELLE will host a live broadcast titled “Live Message” at 7 p.m. KST on the 12th via her personal Instagram and YouTube. She’s expected to share a life update with fans around the world, and she has also launched a new Instagram account ahead of the stream.

“This live is purely for fan communication,” HwaWoo said, adding that DANIELLE “will not address any matters related to ongoing litigation.”

DANIELLE had expressed a desire to return to ADOR after losing a court battle over the validity of her exclusive contract, but the label moved to terminate the agreement last month. ADOR has since filed a damages suit worth approximately 43 billion won against DANIELLE, a member of her family, and former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin.

The case has been assigned to the 31st Civil Division of the Seoul Central District Court, with a first hearing date yet to be set. ADOR cited reasons for termination including entering agreements that conflicted with her exclusive contract, conducting independent entertainment activities, and damaging the reputation and credibility of the company and the group.

Meanwhile, ADOR stated that NewJeans members HAERIN and HYEIN have returned following the court’s decision, and HANNI has also conveyed her intention to return after discussions with her family. MINJI is reportedly still in talks with the company.
