At the 2025 SBS Entertainment Awards, broadcast live from SBS Prism Tower in Seoul’s Sangam neighborhood on Dec. 30 at 8:50 p.m., Jun took home the Producer Award in the Show/Music category.
Accepting the honor, he opened with, “I’ve received a few trophies at the Entertainment Awards, but this is my first time with this one.”
“For people in variety, producers are as important as the audience ― they’re our employers, in a way,” he added with a grin. “That’s why this Producer Award feels especially meaningful. I’m grateful and thrilled.”
Jun went on to thank the creative team and cast of "The Ballad of Us", shouting out everyone behind the scenes and on camera.
“These are producers I’ve been connected with since 'K-pop Star,'” he noted. “Funny enough, I used to think SBS didn’t really have me on their radar ― and yet, the first place to give me a Producer Award is SBS.”
He wrapped with a playful pledge that drew laughs: “Lee Sang-min, Yang Se-chan and I share one thing ― we do what the producers say. We don’t push our own agenda. I’ll keep shelving my opinions and listening to the producers.”
