YouTube hitmakers PSICK Univ’s Lee Yong-ju and Jung Jae-hyung spent time with local children in Bangladesh through ChildFund Korea’s series “Following Friends to Bangladesh,” delivering plenty of laughs ― and some heart-tugging moments along the way.
Rolled out in installments beginning Nov. 28, the five-day trip follows the duo as they freely explore the country and visit Bridge School, capturing unguarded exchanges and easy, variety-show chemistry.
Episode 2 drops viewers into everyday life: they pick up traditional outfits and sit down for meals with locals. In Episode 3, the focus shifts to Bridge School, where Lee dusts off his old clown chops to dance and twist balloons, while the pair join classes and mealtimes, helping the kids practice English. They later stop by a nearby landfill to hand out work gloves, then visit students’ homes to cook Korean comfort food and share pieces of their culture.
In the finale, they prep a surprise for a young fan ― gifting a soccer kit and a TV ― hit a theme park together, and wrap the night by delivering Korean dishes and cheering on the children’s dreams. Before they leave, Bridge School students receive umbrellas and watches ― small gifts underscoring a bigger message of care.
PSICK Univ has been pairing comedy with community work off-camera, too. The team recently donated 10 million won with ChildFund Korea to help operate Bangladesh’s Bridge School, and in March contributed the same amount to the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association to support wildfire recovery ― proof their humor travels with empathy.
