On the Dec. 21 episode of SBS’s "My Little Old Boy," viewers got their first full look at Tak’s place.
The tour was his forfeit after losing a playful “guide” challenge to Seo Jang-hoon on a previous episode.
Waking up, Tak instinctively called out, “Mom!” before catching himself: “Right, I’m in Jeju,” he laughed.
He was spending the morning at his Jeju second home. Seo explained that Tak stays in Seoul with his mother when he’s taping, but lives solo on Jeju whenever he’s off the clock.
Scrolling through entertainment headlines, Tak spotted news that Invitation from Bachelor Again was ending, and his face fell.
“I just lost a show,” he joked. “Lee Sang-min and Kim Jun-ho had to go and get married―now I’m out, too.”
Tak’s property is a minimalist prefab split into a main house and a guest unit, which Seo noted is the kind of build “you can put up in five days.”
With “the kids” coming over, Tak hit the coastal road for a five-day market run. During the drive, he kept muttering to himself, admitting he was feeling a little lonely.
Back home, he warmly greeted his guests―not his actual children, but his younger "My Little Old Boy" castmates.
They fired up an outdoor barbecue, and talk turned to newlywed Kim Jong-min. Asked how his wife felt about his Jeju trip, Kim said, “She didn’t mind since I’m heading back later.”
“So, no more overnights now that you’re married?” Tak prodded. “Isn’t that how marriage works?” Kim laughed. “If the planes stop, I’ll take a boat. I already miss her.” He also revealed he quit drinking after the wedding, surprising everyone at the table.
Kim added he hadn’t told his wife he was meeting Tak: “I don’t think she’s his biggest fan,” he teased. “To be fair, she doesn’t have a favorite on My Little Old Boy―everyone’s always up to some mischief,” drawing laughs.
Elsewhere in the episode, Tak and Im Won-hee took an at-home andropause self-test. The results? Tak was in the clear, while Im tested positive―cue mixed reactions and ribbing from the group.
