With SEVENTEEN’s WOOZI and HOSHI heading off for mandatory military service, the group rallied for a heartfelt send-off ― and shared the moment with fans.

According to Pledis Entertainment, WOOZI reported to an Army training center on Sept. 15, followed by HOSHI on Sept. 16, officially beginning their service in South Korea.

On the group’s official Instagram, members offered hugs and words of support, even rubbing WOOZI’s freshly buzzed head before he went in.

“Eat well and stay healthy,” “If anyone messes with you, call us,” and “Don’t worry ― just focus on staying healthy,” the members told them, underscoring their tight-knit bond. Fans echoed the emotion online, writing, “They’re more like family than family,” and “I’m in tears.”

All members ― except JEONGHAN and WONWOO, who are already serving ― reportedly came together in person to see the pair off.

Just days earlier, SEVENTEEN played back-to-back [NEW_] world tour shows at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium, then immediately turned up to send WOOZI and HOSHI off, reinforcing the group’s famously family-like teamwork.
