On the upcoming episode of SBS's variety show 'Whenever Possible,' TWICE's JIHYO and SANA will make an appearance, promising a bustling adventure in the Geumho-dong area.
During the filming, SANA captured everyone's attention by sharing a bittersweet story about how she almost didn't become 'TWICE's SANA.' Reflecting on her 13-plus years living in Korea, SANA said, "When I was younger, I thought about sneaking back home in the early hours of the morning." She added, "I wondered how I could take my suitcase out without making the front door sound and leave." She shared her somewhat serious runaway scenario with a laugh.
SANA, originally from Japan, started her idol life in a foreign country at the tender age of 17. However, she humorously revealed, "But my passport was with the company, and to get it, I would have had to sneak into the company, which was realistically impossible." SANA disclosed that she had even considered taking MOMO with her, reminiscing about the thrilling past that could have reduced TWICE to seven members.
Moreover, SANA showcased her natural variety show talent, inherited from her Osaka roots, effortlessly charming Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok. When Yoo Yeon-seok expressed curiosity about the famous Osaka reactions, saying, "People from Osaka are known for their great reactions, right? I've seen videos where they go 'Wow' at everything," SANA responded, "I used to do that when I was younger. But the stereotype became so widespread in Korea that I decided I wouldn't be one of those people anymore, so I don't 'die' anymore," causing an uproar of laughter. As the games began, SANA's mention of 'seasoned crab' promised the birth of another meme, following the legendary 'cheese kimbap' meme. After the first game, she candidly expressed, "That game was really nerve-wracking," making Yoo Jae-suk burst into laughter.
SANA and JIHYO's appearance on 'Whenever Possible' will air at 9 PM on the 20th.
