Actor Son Suk-ku has expressed his admiration for director Yoon Jong-bin.

At the press conference for Disney+'s 'Nine Puzzles' held in a hotel in Dongdaemun, Seoul, on the afternoon of the 14th, Son was asked why he decided to join the project. He responded, "The decisive factor was Director Yoon Jong-bin. As I've mentioned on other occasions, I've been a huge fan of his work for a long time, so it was a great honor to receive his offer."

In this project, Son plays 'Han-saem,' a detective from the violent crimes unit and a graduate of the police academy. Son mentioned, "The relationship setup with 'Yi-na' (played by Kim Da-mi) was a challenge. It's a relationship that's hard to experience in real life, so I relied on my imagination. Since it's a unique relationship, I thought what I was doing might just be the right answer. Da-mi gave me a lot of ideas, so I think it turned out well."

'Nine Puzzles' is a mystery thriller that unravels the secrets of a series of murders that restart with the pieces of a mysterious puzzle. It involves 'Yi-na' (Kim Da-mi), the only witness to an unsolved case and a current profiler, and 'Han-saem' (Son Suk-ku), a detective from the violent crimes unit who suspects her until the end. This series marks Director Yoon Jong-bin's second venture after 'Narco-Saints', following his works 'Nameless Gangster: Rules of the Time' and 'The Spy Gone North'. It's his debut mystery genre project, and with a female character at its core, it is generating significant buzz for its genre and character portrayal.

With Director Yoon Jong-bin's sophisticated direction and the fresh pairing of Kim Da-mi and Son Suk-ku, 'Nine Puzzles' is set to release 11 episodes in total: six episodes on May 21st (Wednesday), three episodes on May 28th (Wednesday), and two episodes on June 4th (Wednesday).
